Gordana Benat
Gordana Benat works as a project manager at CARNET’s Education Support Department. Since 2005, she has been working in the field of application of ICT in teaching and the educational process through various forms of support for teachers. She is currently leading the development of digital content for learning and teaching within the e-School program. She has participated in a number of EU projects dealing with the development of digital competencies of teachers. Gordana graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb, Department of General Informatics and General Linguistics in 2003 and she is currently a PhD student at the Department of Pedagogy, Faculty of Philosophy.
In this lecture, participants will be introduced to e-Schools with digital content for learning and teaching that can be used as a supplement to classroom teaching, they are ideal for successful organization and implementation of distance learning, as well as learning at home. Digital contents help teachers in the preparation and implementation of innovative teaching activities, and enable students to learn in an easy and fun way by encouraging them to research, independently conclude and connect teaching materials with everyday life situations.
