Two workshops “Microsoft Office 365 for primary schools in the Republic of Serbia” were successfully held in Belgrade, December 13-24, 2019. The Center for Education Technologies Western Balkans, supported by Microsoft and Ewe from Belgrade, organized two professional workshops aimed at raising ICT competences in Serbian primary schools with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Teams and OneNote. The workshops were held at Microsoft offices in Serbia, Španskih boraca 3, in Belgrade.
The workshop moderator was Mrs. Ana Zivkovic, an award-winning teacher from Čegar Elementary School in Niš, who is also a Microsoft Innovation Educator. The workshop was of a practical nature and participants had the opportunity to experience a collaborative environment through working on Office 365 in education. Just over 50 teachers have been trained and successfully mastered the planned activities.
The workshop was free of charge for all participants and was conducted in Serbian.
The Center for Education Technologies Western Balkans is a non-governmental, independent and not-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education through information and communication technologies. EdTech centre has been established by education experts and practitioners who have united around the idea to improve the quality of education for all students from the Western Balkans in the 21st century, and, among other things, created the New Technology in Education event.
