About the Conference
The international online conference Digital Education 2026 will take place on October 30–31, 2026, organized by the EdTech Center Western Balkans in collaboration with its partners.
For the seventh year in a row, we bring together teachers, researchers, organizations, institutions, companies, and startups, as well as policymakers, representatives of European and international institutions, and experts in education and technology.
In one place, we connect diverse actors of the EdTech ecosystem.
Together, we exchange experiences, learn from one another, and explore how technology is transforming education — not only in theory and policy, but in practice.
The conference is held fully online.
Why Digital Education
From the very beginning, the goal of the Digital Education conference has been to build a platform and a community for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking — through which we strengthen the EdTech ecosystem in Serbia and the region.
The conference program covers current topics in digital education while also opening space for discussions about the future of education, including the role of artificial intelligence, safety, ethics, and equal access for all.
In a time of rapid technological development, through the program we aim to enable:
participants to explore innovations, strategic and regulatory frameworks, examples of good practice, and to connect with peers from Serbia, the region, and beyond;
speakers to share their experiences and practical solutions from their work;
exhibitors to present their technological solutions and engage directly with participants;
partners to connect with the education sector and other actors within the EdTech ecosystem.
Digital education is not only about the use of educational technologies, but also about how we understand and apply them in practice. By connecting education and technology, through responsible and thoughtful use, we contribute to the development of knowledge and skills needed by children, young people, and professionals — while also fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable learning environment.
