Aleksandar is the founder of Geek Area, a company that helps businesses digitalize and improve their operations through IT solutions. He also launched and manages SERB-CRAFT, the largest Minecraft server network in Serbia, which brings together over 2,500 players daily. From the very beginning, he has been actively involved with the organization “Nauči me” and has participated in all its projects. He has experience leading IT projects, particularly in education, mentoring, and digitalization. His skills include programming, project management, cybersecurity, web design, and the use of various digital tools. He enjoys working on projects that enhance education and business processes.

Aleksandra Hohnjec graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, specializing in international trade, and works as a teacher at the Economic and Birotechnical School in Bjelovar. She was part of the Croatian national team at the Intersteno World Congress 2022 in Maastricht. She works with gifted students, writes professional articles, and conducts research. She has been selected twice as one of the most successful educational professionals in the country.

Bojana Mitričeski Anđelković works as a geography teacher in a primary school and has extensive experience working with children with developmental disabilities and special needs. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to enhancing teaching through innovative approaches, integrating digital technologies, and applying modern pedagogical methods that promote active learning and inclusivity. She has repeatedly presented examples of good practice at national and international levels, sharing her experience and results with colleagues across Serbia and Europe. Bojana has led workshops on the use of digital tools in teaching in Brussels, Ljubljana, Belgrade, Vidin, Warsaw, and Niš, demonstrating how technology can contribute to higher-quality and more creative education. She is a certified National Geographic Education teacher, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and an ambassador for the Scientix and EDU-ARCTIC networks, actively promoting the use of scientific and digital resources in education. Her professional mission is to inspire students to explore the world around them, develop critical thinking, and become responsible citizens who understand the importance of sustainable development.

Dejan Nikolić graduated from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš. He is currently employed as a teacher at the Technical School in Zaječar. He participates in programs organized by Junior Achievement Serbia, the Petlja Foundation (“Teacher for the 21st Century” program), and the Institute for Education and Upbringing (as a member of the team for the final exam in the field of Computer Engineering). He is also involved in the Erasmus program at his school and is a member of the Engineering Chamber of Serbia. He is the initiator of the Galaksija Cup competition and the Winter School of Programming in Zaječar. As a mentor, he has guided student teams participating in competitions organized by the Talent Center, the Student Project Conference of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš, Metropolitan University, and the Best Technological Innovation competition in Serbia.

Dobrinka Kuzmanović is an Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology, holding a PhD in Psychological Sciences. Her research focuses on development and learning in formal educational contexts, digital literacy of students and staff in educational institutions, safe online behavior, digital well-being of youth, and related areas. She has gained extensive research experience through leading and participating in numerous national and international projects. She is the author of monographs, scientific articles, educational policy documents, training programs, and professional guides. Dobrinka has received numerous awards, including the Živorad Žiža Vasić Award for the popularization of contemporary psychology (2024), the Dragan Janjić Award for media literacy (2023), and the EdTech Western Balkan Awards for contributions to digital education (2021).

Goran Stanković graduated from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Niš. He began his professional career at the Technical School in Zaječar, where he worked as an informatics teacher from 2000 to 2004. He advanced to the position of Assistant Director, which he held from 2004 to 2014, and since 2014 he has been serving as the school’s Director. He is actively involved in professional and organizational activities, including participation in the school’s Erasmus programs. He is also a certified ECDL examiner and the organizer of the Galaksija Cup competition. In addition, he serves as the Secretary of the Association of Electrical Engineering Schools of Serbia.

Jadranka Dorešić is a Master of Economic Sciences with thirty years of experience in education. She is employed as a vocational subject teacher with advancement to the title of Advisor at the Ivan Švear Secondary School in Ivanić-Grad. In addition to working with students, she occasionally teaches in other adult education institutions. Throughout her career, she regularly involves students in field teaching, as well as in national and international competitions and projects.

She actively publishes professional papers in domestic and international journals, as well as on the Edutorij platform. She is a co-author of the current secondary school textbook and a reviewer of another textbook, thus contributing to the improvement of the education system. In the 2024/2025 school year, she was selected as one of the 522 most successful teachers in the country.

Katarina Aleksić is the head of the Center for Educational Technology at the Institute for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education and Upbringing. She is a long-time computer science teacher and the recipient of numerous awards for innovative approaches to teaching and learning. She is the author and co-author of several professional papers, as well as the co-author of three accredited textbooks in the field of computer science and informatics. Kristina Fratrović earned her degree in Mathematics Engineering from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Zagreb. She works as a mathematics and computer science teacher at “Dubovac” Elementary School in Karlovac. She is the author of mathematics workbooks and a speaker at conferences in Croatia and internationally, where she presents her work with students in the STEM field.

Marija is a graduate philologist by profession and currently serves as the president of the organization “Nauči me”. She is the co-founder of a Serbian language school for foreigners and a teacher of piano and music theory. Communication is the connecting theme across all aspects of her work. She believes in the importance of lifelong learning and considers a modern, inclusive educational system to be key to social progress.

Marina Panić is a Serbian language and literature teacher with many years of classroom experience and active involvement in education digitalization projects. As a dedicated educator, she combines tradition with modern technologies, developing teaching materials, video lessons, and interactive content that foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for language learning.

Mia Sinobad is a primary school teacher with over ten years of experience at “17. oktobar” Primary School in Jagodina. In her conference presentation, she will demonstrate how students can creatively and engagingly explore their surroundings in the present and the past, as well as how climate change affects their lives and the entire planet.

Since 2018, Miloš Đuričanin has been managing strategic initiatives at Nordeus aimed at improving formal and non-formal education, strengthening the gaming startup ecosystem, and enhancing the overall business environment, with a special focus on building the capacities of ecosystem organizations and professional communities.

Before joining Nordeus, Miloš spent over seven years at the Serbian Association of Managers, where he managed business development programs for the largest business organization in Serbia.

At the Nordeus Foundation, he is responsible for developing the organization’s education support strategy.

Nevenka graduated from the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade. She won an award in the “Borislav Pekić” literary competition and published an essay in the first issue of the bilingual journal “Stagiornale” of the Faculty of Philology.

During high school and at the beginning of her studies, she volunteered for AFS, an organization dedicated to student exchanges and the promotion of peace and stability. She also gained experience in administration, and in 2022 she joined the organizational team of Petlja.

Slađana Jović has been teaching for over 25 years and delivers chemistry lessons in English as part of a bilingual education program. She has experience working with children with developmental disabilities and special needs, as well as with gifted students. She has led various workshops on the use of digital innovations in teaching at STEM conferences in Brussels, Warsaw, Ljubljana, and Belgrade. Slađana is actively involved as a seminar leader in the “Schools for the 21st Century” project on behalf of the British Council in Serbia and serves as an external collaborator for the Institute for Evaluation in Belgrade. She has held the title of Educational Advisor since 2020.

Snježana Marković-Zoraja is a biology and chemistry teacher, graduated from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. She works as a biology and chemistry teacher at “Dubovac” Elementary School in Karlovac. She mentors students in national GLOBE chemistry competitions and is a speaker at national and international conferences. She serves as a coordinator or collaborator on various international projects, including ICSE and Erasmus.

Stela Durutović is the Education Programme Manager at the British Council. She has many years of experience in implementing international education projects, particularly in strengthening the competencies of school principals, teachers, and students in the areas of critical thinking, digital literacy, and programming.

She has gained significant experience through collaboration with regional and international educational institutions. In recent years, she has participated as a plenary speaker at the annual conference of the English Language Teachers’ Association (ELTA), as well as at the National Teachers’ Summit of Serbia.

Stela regularly attends the annual World Education Forum in London, dedicated to sharing best practices and innovative approaches to improving teaching and addressing global challenges in the education sector.

She also contributed to the development of a collection of lesson plans and school projects that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and the use of the micro:bit within the Schools for the 21st Century programme, funded by the UK Government with the support of the Ministry of Education.

Tijana Milošević is a research associate at University College Dublin, Center for Digital Policy, holding a PhD in Communication Studies. Her research interests include digital communication among children and youth, online peer violence, and the rights of children and young people in digital environments. She also focuses on internet platformization, privacy and safety policies, the use of artificial intelligence in user protection, and the media representation of global issues. Tijana serves as the international coordinator for the EU Kids Online network and is the author of numerous articles published in reputable international journals. She has a rich research and academic career at internationally recognized universities.

Zdravka Majkić is an English language teacher with many years of experience in both formal and non-formal education. In her school work, she collaborates with students of various ages and needs, including children following individualized education plans. Her professional focus is on inclusion, digitalization of education, and empowering students through innovative learning methods. She actively participates in international projects, particularly within the Erasmus+ program, where she conducts workshops and co-authors publications on inclusion, digital technologies, and interdisciplinary teaching approaches. She is the author and co-author of professional papers and teacher training seminars emphasizing the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence in education. Her professional interests include digital education, language teaching methodology, development of teaching resources, and supporting teachers in enhancing their professional competencies. At conferences and training sessions, she eagerly shares practical experiences and promotes the idea that technology should serve as a tool for creating creative, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments.
