The International Online Conference “Digital Education 2024” is organized by the Center for Educational Technologies Western Balkans in collaboration with partners for the fifth consecutive year.

We continue the tradition of gathering with the desire to exchange knowledge and experiences, to learn from examples of best practices, and to discover the most effective ways of connecting education and modern technologies.

Aleksandra Vujičić

Position: Developing Preschool Children’s Digital Literacy through Project-Based Planning

Aleksandra Vujičić is an art education pedagogue at the Preschool Institution “Dečja radost” in Ćuprija. She has been employed there since 2008 as a professional associate and has also served as a coordinator on numerous projects implemented by the Ministry and UNICEF. Within the project “Preschool Online Learning Community – Learning and Changing Practice,” she worked as a facilitator and coordinator and was also a member of the Working Group for selecting works for the Learning Passport. Among other roles, she coordinated training programs for preschool staff such as “Inclusive Preschool Education – Enhancing Digital Competences of Practitioners in Preschool Institutions” and “Ethics and Integrity,” both conducted online. She also has experience as a trainer in adult education (for both staff and parents), delivered in person and online.

Ana is the director of the Preschool Institution “Včielka” in Bački Petrovac. By profession, she is a preschool teacher with an additional degree from the Faculty of Education, specializing as a primary school teacher.

She worked as a preschool teacher for 14 years, a period that brought her extensive experience in working with children and provided opportunities to participate in various forms of professional development, as well as in international projects, particularly those under Erasmus+.

Ana has participated in numerous professional conferences, where she had the opportunity to present examples of her own practice and the practice of the institution in which she is employed.

She maintains close cooperation with the Pedagogical Institute of Vojvodina, the Association of Preschool Teachers of Serbia, and the Association of Preschool Teachers of Vojvodina, on topics such as Supporting Children’s Initiative as an Important Dimension in Building Relationships and The Use of ICT Through the Example of a Project.

She was also one of the speakers at a conference for preschool institution directors within the project “Inclusive Preschool Education” implemented by the Ministry of Education.

Andrijana Ćirić

Position: ICT in the Function of Learning and Development – Children and Educators in a Digital Environment

Andrijana is a pedagogical associate at the Preschool Institution “Včielka” in Bački Petrovac, a pedagogical advisor, and an external advisor for the Novi Sad School Administration. Together with her institutional team, she encourages the use of digital technology to make preschool activities more visible within the educational community.

She has gained significant experience as a mentor in a nationally important program aimed at supporting the development of digital competences among practitioners in preschool institutions. Through authorship and participation as a partner in several Erasmus+ (KA1, KA2) projects, she has gained valuable insights into preschool systems across European countries.

She is one of the responsible authors and co-authors of the handbook “Learning Adventures Beyond the Walls of Kindergartens and Schools”, which presents the experiences of the Preschool Institution “Včielka” in developing digital competences among children and adults.

Andrijana has extensive experience in presenting best practice examples at conferences, professional gatherings, and advisory meetings at the local, regional, and international levels. In the field of education, her interests are directed — in addition to ICT — toward the development of transition models.

She is particularly proud of her work on piloting the Learning Passport platform, where, through the use of various digital tools and in collaboration with a team of preschool teachers and nurse-educators, she developed internal training modules and promoted horizontal learning within her institution.

Dr. Dragana Malešević holds two doctoral degrees – one in Didactic-Methodological Sciences and another in Pedagogical Sciences. She is employed as a professor at VŠSSOV in Kikinda. In her work with students, she utilizes various digital learning tools to develop their digital competencies. Her books on QR codes, part of the “Books to Grow With” series, won the Children’s Book of the Year award at the 2023 International Book Fair in Belgrade. In the same year, the publisher PROVENS received a Special Award at the International Book Fair in Novi Sad for their contribution to children’s publishing, thanks to these books. She has also integrated the use of QR codes into Serbian-Russian and Serbian-English children’s dictionaries, enabling audio-visual foreign language learning.

Ivana Joksimović began her career in Šabac as a preschool teacher within the preparatory preschool program at the “Naše dete” Preschool Institution. After completing her internship exam and obtaining her license, she continued her career as a group teacher at the “Radosno detinjstvo” kindergarten within PI Čukarica, where she has been serving as the facility manager since 2023. She has attended various trainings and seminars and is the author/co-author of papers presented at professional gatherings for preschool educators in Tara and Kladovo. She is also actively involved in implementing the curriculum framework and activities of the Professional Learning Community. Jagoda Korać graduated from the College of Professional Studies for Preschool Teacher Education, with a specialization, and has been working at the Preschool Institution “Naša radost” for more than 25 years.

She has participated as a speaker at the Professional Early Childhood Educators Meetings on Tara and Zlatibor, at the international conference “Horizons” organized by the College of Professional Studies for Preschool Teacher Education, as well as at the international conference of pedagogical associates and preschool teachers in Bijeljina.

Jagoda has taken part in Erasmus projects and global initiatives such as “Climate Action”, “Global Goals”, and “Aqua Mind.” She is the recipient of numerous NQL and EQL recognitions for eTwinning projects.

Jasmina Majstorović

Position: The Use of Digital Technologies in Preschool Education: From the Core of Change to the Dissemination of Knowledge

Jasmina Majstorović is a preschool teacher at the “Radosno detinjstvo” kindergarten and actively contributes to fostering the kindergarten’s culture through the design of spatial areas, creation of scenography for various needs, and overall aesthetic enhancement of the environment. She possesses skills in using ICT tools and is responsible at the kindergarten level for producing various video and other digital materials. Jasmina serves as the coordinator of the Child Protection Team against abuse, neglect, and discrimination, actively participating in the development of the Action Plan and monitoring its implementation. She has also taken part in competitions for the best didactic tools organized by the Association of Preschool Teachers. Due to her skills and creativity, she is frequently engaged in designing scenography for various events at the preschool institution where she works.

Milan Todorović

Position: Media Literacy for the Youngest and the Activities of the Regulatory Authority

Milan studied law at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, where he earned his law degree. He further expanded his legal expertise by passing the bar examination.

In 2014, he joined the Legal Department of the Regulatory Authority as a Senior Legal Advisor, contributing to the development of all bylaws adopted by the Regulator, drafting legal opinions within its scope of work, and representing the institution before the courts.

Since 2019, he has held the position of Secretary General, gaining significant experience in management and organizational leadership, with a special focus on international cooperation. He has actively participated in meetings of EPRA, ERGA, BRAF, MNRA, and CERF.

As a collaborator, he took part in preparing several publications: “Media Regulatory Authorities and Hate Speech,” “Media Regulatory Authorities and the Protection of Minors,” and “Media Regulatory Authorities and Media Pluralism,” developed within the joint Council of Europe and European Commission projects — JUFREX 1 and JUFREX 2. As a representative of the Regulator, he also contributed to the creation of the “Media Literacy Handbook for Educators, Teachers, and School Counselors,” produced under the EU project “Support to Media Reforms.”

Nataša Vrapčević

Nataša graduated from the Faculty of Teacher Education, specializing in primary education and preschool education. She has been working at the Preschool Institution “Naša radost” since 2000.

Since 2015, she has been an eTwinning Ambassador of Serbia, and since 2021, an Erasmus Ambassador and a Certified National Geographic Educator. As of 2025, she serves as a moderator for ECEC (Early Childhood Education and Care), a specialized group on the eTwinning platform at the European level.

She serves as a facilitator of the global project “Climate Action” and is the author of the global projects “Aqua Mind” and “Green Action.” She also acts as the Erasmus Project Coordinator at the Preschool Institution “Naša radost.”

Nataša has participated in numerous national and international conferences as a presenter, and has published over 20 papers in conference proceedings. She is the author of five accredited professional development seminars and co-author of the handbook for preschool teachers “The Teacher – Researcher of Their Own Practice” (2014).

Slavica Dražović Perošević

Slavica Dražović Perošević holds a master’s degree in preschool education and has ten years of experience working with preschool children. She has been pursuing studies in pedagogy since 2022, focusing on connecting theoretical knowledge with practical experience. She is particularly notable as the author of more than five research papers exploring the use of digital technologies in the professional development of educators and in work with children. She has translated this research into practice by designing and conducting the webinar “Digital Tools in the Professional Development of Preschool Staff,” aimed at enhancing colleagues’ professional skills and improving the quality of work in preschool institutions. Believing that digital technologies can enrich children’s play and learning experiences, she has developed various activities and games through which preschoolers acquire new knowledge in a creative and interactive way.
